Journal Notes

While staying with my grandkids while their parents were on a business trip, I used the opportunity to teach some of the older ones how to sew. I let them pick the fabrics for their blocks and sew them together. I brought them home and later finished them to gift to my son and daughter-in-law for their 15th anniversary. The fabric colors used were the same used in their wedding. I also put a sticky note with the child’s name on the block they made so that their parents saw that when they opened the gift. This quilt has gone from Texas to Bangkok and back to Texas again!
