Journal Notes

I had this idea when thinking of a quilt to support the movement against ICE. I wanted a quilt pattern with fire to represent melting ice. I searched the web and found the ring of fire pattern. I then thought about making it a heart shaped ring instead because love wins over hate. The colors are from the warmest to hottest colors of fire with a blue heart in the middle for the hottest. All fabrics except the yellow and blue have heart prints. I did not have a yellow heart print and the blue was flames which I thought fit the theme for this quilt. I did not purchase any fabric for this quilt. I had blue heart fabric but I didn’t think the color was correct so I used the blue flame instead.
