Journal Notes

My MiL loved boats and I jumped headfirst into making her happy. The sails were from various FQs I bought from Hancock Fabric (remember them?) and the boat was a wood grained print. I believe all the sails are from all different fabrics. The transitional skies were specially selected to show everything from blue to stormy skies. This quilt was one of my beginners so not all corners meet and that’s okay because I make and I learn. Seeing this makes me want to create another larger one. Wonder if I have enough scraps??
