Journal Notes

In 1986 in Fresno, California, a group of about 20 women decided to start a quilt guild because there was not a recognized group in Fresno at that time. I was elected as the first president of the guild, and after my first year, the ladies decided to make me quilt squares using peaches and blues (popular colors at the time). The squares are separated by sashing and navy blue squares. I really enjoy hand quilting and did a lot of extra quilting on this quilt. I'm not sure of the pattern name.
