Made a bag with 3 tubes, filled with 1/2 cup rice then sewed across the width so the rice stayed in. Created 9 pockets with rice then made another bag for a cover. Didn’t feel like hand sewing so I picked a pretty stitch, turned ends in, pulled the rice bag ends up into the bag cover, and sewed it shut. The challenging part was keeping the rice out of the way while I sewed across each pocket. The next challenging part was sewing the hem and keeping the edge of the inner bag securely in the part I was hemming. The weight of the bag was pulling that inner bag out of the hem.
