Journal Notes

This is the first project I've created in EQ8 and completed. While I was given FPP pattern for the woven stars along with gifted fabric, I needed to figure out how I wanted to use those stars in a project. I opened up my EQ8 and started designing. This heart wall hanging was what I came up with. I used the EQ8 to help me with the math (a skill set I struggle with) and took the image I had in my head and made it concrete. Once the top was pieced, I designed the FMQ design and used my Grace Q'nique 15R to hand guide the quilting. I love how it turned out.
