I began quilting back in the early 2000's. Not exactly sure when to be honest. I took classes and never really finished any of those projects. Once the class was over I was lured by the next piece of eye candy and so the previous project was abandoned. I stopped quilting completely around the time of Covid. I know that is when alot of us started or dove in to overdrive with quilting. Instead I taught myself the art of decorating sugar cookies. My waistline is proof! One day I discovered, quite by accident, a new to me quilt shop. Up Yur Quilt was the inspiration I needed to get back behind the sewing machine. I now live and breath quilting. I have just recently purchase a Handy quilter long arm and I am enjoying learning to longarm also.
