I live in the small town of Corryong in north east Victoria (Australia). I started quilting in 1998 with a series of classes at my local quilt shop (Kate’s Sewing Centre in Bundoora). Since then I have made over 100 quilts for family and friends and a few for charities. My quilts are all machine pieced using either my Bernina 1260 (circa mid-1990s) or my Brother Innovis 4000d. I quilt all my own quilts, until 2025 all my Bernina 1260, initially using a walking foot, and later adding free-motion quilting and ruler foot quilting with a Westalee ruler foot. In April 2025 I purchased a Bernina Q20 sit-down quilting machine to extend my free-motion and ruler quilting (belated retirement gift to myself).
