Besides a sewing class for Home Ec in junior high (and my mom banning me from using her sewing machine because I broke too many needles), I only started sewing in 2015 when doctors told me I couldn’t return to work. I didn’t like sewing clothes, but making quilts was something I thought I might like. Craftsy/Bluprint was around back then, so I watched a lot of their tutorials. Those helped me so much! I have since have made quilts for most of my friends and family, and try to challenge myself.
